“The most beautiful thing you can wear is confidence.” -Blake Lively
Step #1: Maybelline Fit Me (Matte and Poreless) – #120 Classic Ivory
I am so in love with the look of a matte finish. This doesn’t give me extreme coverage but it does give a beautiful matte finish and I suggest it to all my friends. Using my finger, I make multiple spots all over my face and then go in with my beauty blender till it is even across my face.
Step #2: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind – Lightest Shade
This is what I use as concealer. I apply it under my eyes, forehead, around my mouth and any areas that I need more coverage. Love this stuff, I have gone through multiple sticks. I apply with the tip of my beauty blender.
Step #3: Maybelline Fit Me (Matte and Poreless) – #120 Classic Ivory
Using the sponge it comes with I apply to my entire face and a bit down my neck.
Step #4: Wet n Wild Contouring Palette – Dulce De Leche – Light Shade
When I was a freshman in college for my birthday I decided to spoil myself and I purchased the Kate Von D Light Contour Palette. As a broke college student, spending almost $50.00 on a makeup item was a bit deal. It is such an amazing palette but personally I only used two shades out of the six it comes with. Since then I have wanted to repurchase because it is amazing but I could never get myself to do it because of the price. Dulce De Leche is the most amazing dupe for the shades I loved in the Kate Von D palette. Using the light side I apply over the areas I applied my concealer (step #2) focusing more under my eyes. I use the sides of my beauty blender to apply this.
Step #5: Eyebrows
For my eyebrows I don’t have a specific brand or product that I use. All I do is make sure that I have a brown eyeshadow and a small brush to help apply. If you would like a full blog post in detail on how I do this step please let me know.
Step #6: Maybelline The Colossal Volume – Glam Black
I have been using this mascara since high school. I am very specific in the way I apply my mascara, there are multiple steps that I take. First I make sure to curl my eyelashes then I apply my first layer to my top lashes. After a minute I go back in with mascara and continue this process till I am happy with the length and thickness. Next I start applying to my bottom, with this I don’t use as much I just make sure that my lashes are long and even. Once my eyelashes are dry I apply a final coat and curl my top lashes one last time.
Step #7: Wet n Wild Contouring Palette – Dulce De Leche – Dark Shade
As I said in step 4, this palette is such an amazing dupe for the Kate Von D Light Contour Palette and has become one of my favorite makeup products. I use the dark shade to contour around my face. It is easy to build up the intensity of the color if you choose to, personally I go for a medium bronze look. I apply this with a small fluffy brush.
Step #8: L’oreal True Match Powder – Nut Brown
This is labeled as a powder but I use it as a bronzer. I love a nice bronzed face, nut brown is a great dupe for the popular Hoola Bronzer by Benefit. I get so much use out of one pan, love it!!! I apply with the same brush I apply on step #7.
Step #9: Milani Baked Powder Bronze – #06 Bellissimo Bronze
I use this product as a blush, it contains pink and golds that gives it such a beautiful golden bronze to the face. Milani carries multiple shades for this product, they are all stunning. Such great pigmentation and a light feel to the face. To apply this product I use the small brush that it comes with.
Step #10: Lipstick
I always end my look with lipstick, usually a nude or pink but sometimes I go for a little more color.
